AUDITION NOTICE
ERA will hold non-Equity in-person auditions for A Doll’s House by three manufacturers on Monday November 25, 2024 at The Chapel, 6238 Alexander Drive, 63105 from 6pm t0 10pm.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the play.
All acting positions are paid $200.00.
Submit a resume and headshot through the audition form. There is no need to bring a copy of your resume and headshot to the audition.
A Doll’s House by three manufacturers runs January 30th to February 8th, 2025 (Thursday-Saturday) at The Kranzber Black Box. All performances at 8PM. Rehearsals will be scheduled in January.
A Doll’s House by three manufacturers, directed by Spencer Lawton, Jimmy Bernatowicz, and Miranda Jagels Félix
Three early-career directors–Miranda Jagels Félix, Spencer Lawton, Jimmy Bernatowicz –each adapt and direct the first, second, and third act, respectively, of A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen, with the same cast. As the audience watches the whole play with one cast, it will observe how much a director influences a work of theatre.
ERA is casting the following roles (each role is open to all ages and identities):
Nora Helmer: The play's heroine, Nora is a playful and witty housewife and mother.
Torvald Helmer: Nora's husband and a bank manager who is ambitious, traditional, and concerned with appearances.
Doctor Rank: A family friend of the Helmers who is unmarried, lonely, and secretly in love with Nora.
Kristine Linde: A former friend of Nora's who returns to town after falling on hard times.
Nils Krogstad: A clerk at Helmer's bank who is unscrupulous and dishonest.
Anne Marie: The nursemaid to Nora and her children.
